Summary of the Activity

The peace workshop was a thoughtfully designed event aimed at engaging participants in meaningful conversations and experiences around the concept of peace. It began with an inaugural ceremony and welcoming remarks that introduced the theme and purpose of the workshop, emphasizing the role of youth in promoting peaceful communities. The first session, Four Corners of Peace, helped participants explore four interconnected dimensions of peace—personal, interpersonal, structural, and ecological—through interactive discussions. This was followed by non-verbal and visual exercises that built empathy, active listening, and self-discovery.

Highlights of the Activity

The peace workshop opened with an inaugural ceremony and welcoming remarks that introduced the purpose of the session — to explore peace from multiple angles and engage youth in meaningful dialogue and reflection. The first activity, Four Corners of Peace, allowed participants to engage with four key dimensions of peace: personal, interpersonal, structural, and ecological. Next, the Silent Line-Up offered a powerful experience in non-verbal communication, fostering collective empathy. The Spectrum Walk followed, sparking rich discussions about peace and justice. To build connection and community, the Peace Mixer Bingo offered an interactive and light-hearted way for participants to engage and share personal stories.
