The Centre for Peace Praxis, in collaboration with the Wildlife Conservation Society, organized an impactful workshop on wildlife conservation, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of preserving our planet’s biodiversity. The workshop brought together environmental enthusiasts, students, and conservationists for a day of enlightening sessions, engaging discussions, and hands-on activities.

Expert speakers from the Wildlife Conservation Society shed light on critical issues such as habitat destruction, the human-wildlife conflict, and the role of communities in conservation efforts. These sessions provided participants with a deeper understanding of the delicate balance between ecosystems and the urgent need for action to protect endangered species.

Interactive activities made the workshop both enjoyable and thought-provoking. Participants engaged in role-playing exercises that simulated real-life conservation challenges and brainstormed innovative solutions to protect wildlife. Guided nature walks and observation exercises fostered a deeper connection with nature, encouraging participants to become active stewards of the environment.

The workshop concluded with an open discussion, where participants shared their takeaways and pledged to contribute to wildlife conservation in their own capacities. This collaborative effort reinforced the Centre’s mission to promote harmony between humans and nature and inspired a new generation of conservation advocates.
